COVID-19 response

The Exeter Science Park Centre (SPC), and the Lamarr, Newton and Turing buildings are now open to our tenants and their invited guests.

Over recent months, the Exeter Science Park Limited team has been working alongside consultants and contractors to create a demonstrably safe and pleasant working environment and community space for our staff, members, suppliers and other stakeholders that is compliant with UK health and safety legislation.

Our response is based on 2 metre social-distancing and has involved health and safety improvements to the physical environment, processes, and information. We will continuously assess our health and safety processes so that we can gradually increase the number of people who are able to access the SPC. We will make further announcements as we open to external visitors or if there are any other changes.

Measures in the SPC include 2 metre social-distancing markings and a one-way system, an enhanced cleaning schedule in communal spaces, and hand sanitiser available throughout the building.

We also have socially-distanced seating in the café, where tables must be booked in advance, or a click-and-collect food and drink service. Signing in is now contact-free via an iPad and ‘Exeter Science Park Connect.’

Face coverings are mandatory in communal areas.
